I love the book, The Greatest Salesman In The World by Og Mandino. During my university days I have to read it for my book report and I instantly fell in-love with it. I learned about this broken man, who lost everything because of his gambling and vices.
He lost his family, his home, everything he owned, and lived on the streets. After some time, he came to his senses and regretted his folly of over-indulging. He misses his family and wanted to be with them again. He wanted everything he once had, and planned ways to get them back. He discovered he had a way with words, and encouragement. So he used it to slowly get back on his feet again, speaking and writing inspiring words to help people just like him reclaim their lost lives because of gambling and drinking.
Until such time he became famous for it and people seek him to speak to them inspiring them and in the process, he had gain back his lost life. That man is now the famous Og Mandino, author of bestselling self-help books one of which is my favorite The Greatest Salesman In the World.
